About the course

Acrylic Markers for Beginners: Learn to Paint Dreamy Meadow Landscapes Curious about acrylic markers but not sure where to start? In this beginner-friendly course, we’ll explore how acrylic markers work, learn how to blend and layer them, and use those techniques to create beautiful, colourful landscapes. You’ll learn how to choose a cohesive colour palette, work with different values, create smooth colour transitions, and use layering to build depth, texture, light and shadows. We’ll also practise painting individual elements like fluffy clouds, rolling meadows, foliage and flowers before putting everything together. Then, we’ll take everything we’ve learned and create two complete floral meadow landscape paintings, step by step. In this course, you’ll learn: - How acrylic markers work and how to get comfortable with the medium - How to choose colours and create a cohesive palette - Different ways to blend acrylic markers - How to layer colours to build depth and opacity - How to create clouds, meadows, foliage and floral details - How to use warm and cool colours to create depth - How to work from the background to the foreground - How to bring all these techniques together in 2 complete landscape paintings You’ll also get a downloadable PDF guide with the colour palettes, techniques, tips and helpful information from the class, so you can keep it beside you while you paint. No prior experience with acrylic markers is needed. Just bring your markers, a little curiosity, and let’s paint! 🌿🎨
